Welcome to Our School

Established in 1992, The Academy is both a not-for-profit Charitable Organization and a Licensed Vocational School. It was founded with the sole purpose of providing high quality education programs for disabled, disadvantaged, and displaced children, youth, and adults.

The Academy’s educational approach is to offer an all-inclusive, “hands-on”, learning environment where audiovisual aids, electronic & web-based presentations, course materials, self-paced tutorials, and instructor competence are integrated into a well-designed, high quality curriculum delivery system. By linking the curriculum with real-world work internships and apprenticeships, we maximize our students’ vocational and employment opportunities in today’s job market. All work experience takes place in our student’s own neighborhoods through our Community Service Programs.  This creates a social environment of a community helping itself and generates a positive atmosphere of community pride and accomplishment.
